First Baptist Church Child Development Center is currently hiring dynamic and experienced *Teachers *for our *Early Childhood Program* in Gilmer, TX!
Some of the *duties *include but are not limited to the following:
* Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, fun learning experience for all children
* Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
* Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
* Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a daily basis covering all areas of child development
* Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children

This position will begin ASAP and will be full time with an hourly rate (based on experience).
*Skills*
* Must have prior experience as a lead teacher in an early childhood setting
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with parents and colleagues
* Ability to undertake other duties as assigned
* Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
* A creative mind, able to think creatively and implement new programming, while maintaining consistency with the goals of the program
* A passion for children and early childhood education
This position will be required to work at least *40% of the time*, sometimes more.
In order to be considered for employment, candidates must pass a background check and fingerprinting through MOPAR, CPR First Aid Certification, High School Diploma, or GED
