Maintenance Technician

We are a commercial real estate company looking for a maintenance technician to join our maintenance staff.
The job includes a great variety of maintenance tasks such as preventative maintenance and repairs on plumbing , HVAC , and electrical systems; painting and landscaping etc.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
*Responsibilities* * Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards * Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and ballasts/ convert fixtures to LED, change small electric motors, etc.
) * Maintain ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary * Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality * Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.
) * Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.
g.
landscaping and parking lot maintenance) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.
) *Skills* * Proven experience as maintenance technician * Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems * Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods * Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices * Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills * Good physical condition and strength including working outdoors and with a willingness to work overtime when required * High school diploma or GED equivalent and two years of building maintenance experience.
Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus * Must possess a valid Texas driver's license * Must be able to pass a drug test and background check' ' Work Remotely * No Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $21.
