*Purpose:*
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead the planning and reporting of engineering projects related to commercial grade trailer manufacturing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion, while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
*Shift & Schedule:* 8:00A-5:00P MON-FRI
*Responsibilities:*
* Manage and oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept to production start;
* Create detailed project artifacts (charter, plans, minutes, risk matrix);
* Collaborate with other departments, including production, sales and procurement, to ensure successful completion of projects;
* Maintain project schedule(s) and other schedule management work products;
* Develop project timelines and track progress against established metrics;
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards;
* Identify and mitigate project risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders;
* Work closely with product owners to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements;
* Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders, including senior leadership, product owners, and customer facing departments;
* Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and procedures;
* Assign and monitor project tasks according to team member capacity;
* Facilitate project and task level meetings, capture and communicate action items and follow up with task owners.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (5+ years)
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent work experience
* Knowledge of Engineering Project Lifecycle and engineering design principles;
* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
* Ability to effectively communicate, work and relate with people at all levels of the organization;
* Ability to take in new information from diverse business units and translate them into project and report requirements;
* Ability to create visualizations for project and process workflows;
* Strong data interpretation and analytical skills;
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
* Advanced technical aptitude and typing skills;
* Strong prioritization skills and ability to set clear expectations;
* Knowledge of design build and other build techniques;
* Adept at conflict resolution and creating win/win solutions;
