This role is located in Mount Pleasant, TX 75455
*Shift & Schedule*: Day, Monday-Friday 5:00a-2:30p
*Responsibilities:*
* Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, conduits, pipes, and circuit breakers in buildings.
* Connect electrical systems to provide electricity and ensure proper installation and operation.
* Test and inspect electrical systems for repairs and maintenance.
* Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery and equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
* Troubleshoot and identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
* Repair or replace faulty components or systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic).
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules and checklists.
* Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations during maintenance activities.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive tasks.
* Collaborate with team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and address equipment-related issues.
*Qualifications:*
* Prior experience in maintenance or repair work, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and repairing various types of machinery and equipment.
* Understanding of equipment manuals, diagrams, and technical specifications.
* Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
* Good physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
* Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces, heights, or extreme temperatures.
*Physical Requirements:*
* Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
* Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
* Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
