Welder/Fabricator

Our work environment includes: * Modern office setting * Food provided Responsibilities: - Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications - Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together using various welding techniques - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and assembly of metal components - Use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure accurate dimensions and fit of fabricated parts - Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet codes standards and specifications - Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work orders - Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication - Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings - Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) - Experience working with sheet metal, ductwork, and other metal materials - Familiarity with operating cranes or other lifting equipment for handling heavy materials - Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
