Ensure production uptime and protect company assets through performing scheduled preventive maintenance and complex repairs on machines and equipment by written and/or verbal instruction.
Complete all work orders as set forth by the maintenance software program and/or verbal or written communication presented by maintenance management.
Perform installations and repairs as needed to support productivity.
Train and/or mentor.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
Repair basic to complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electrical repairs to equipment and machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance as needed, and as outlined in work order.
Perform electrical and/or mechanical and building installs as required and outlined.
Basic knowledge of PLC, drive controllers & machine controls.
Perform facility maintenance such as basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
Analyze and diagnose basic to complex motors and equipment.
Perform metal fabrication as required.
Work out of aerial lifts as needed.
Perform all work in a timely, safe and workmanlike manner.
General mathematic ability.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision-making objectives.
Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions and percentages.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple written and verbal instructions.
Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures.
Ability to operate overhead cranes, fork lift trucks, and other equipment following proper procedures.
Ability to operate various hand tools.
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent
· Experience:
Five years of mechanical, electrical, or building maintenance experience.
AC and /or DC knowledge a plus including working with small or large (horsepower) motors and equipment.
